About Me

I have been in private practice as a counsellor since 1994 and as a psychotherapist since 2006, working with many people from all walks of life.  I trained at the Psychosynthesis and Education Trust and gained a Psychosynthesis Counselling Diploma, then gained an MA in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy, awarded by UEL.

I am accredited with BACP and UKCP and maintain all requirements and codes of conduct.  I trained for one year with Gestalt South West in 2000 and one year in Couple’s Therapy in 2003.  I have attended many shorter courses besides these as a way of supporting my ongoing development and interests.  I am very interested in attachment theory and have completed the basics training in Emotion-Focused Couple’s Therapy.

Another of my interests and an ongoing study is Keleman’s Formative body-work, which I use with clients if they find it helpful.

I have personally found psychotherapy enormously helpful in my life.  It has changed the way I think and feel about myself and continues to improve my relationship to the world and others.

I enjoy living in the lower Wye Valley, my practice, my family, gardening and nature at large!
